Well, we were finally able to get a family vacation, even if it was only for a three days. We went whitewater rafting on Day 1 and then spent Day 2&3 rock climbing. We went to the Deschutes River and did the one day trip from Harphan Flats to Sandy Beach (near Maupin). We were at Horsethief Butte rock climbing on the Washington side of the Columbia River near The Dalles, OR. Here are some pictures the three main rapids, Wapinitia, Box Car and Oak Springs.
